Anything worth doing, is worth doing right...... I started getting an interest in art in 6th grade and took all the art, pottery and ceramic classes offered through the 12th grade. That is the only formal training I have recieved in art. I have expanded my horizons from painting and pottery to hand made beaded barretts, acid etched windows and mirrors, drawing and painting in all mediums and my favorites: My one of a kind Mirror Images. My parents owned an antique shop and my younger years were spent around antiques. My father was an artist in drawing and refinishing old furniture back to it's original beauty. My mother was also, in her ability to take a dull drab house and make it into something unique and beautiful, as well as also refinishing furniture. I come from a line of artsie people. I have always loved animals and my art tends to lean more towards them then anything else. I love nature and like to try and capture some of God's beauty in my work. My skills have developed over the years, but I figure that there is always room for improvement in all that we do and this is no different. I have been doing my mirror art for alittle over three years now (since 2005 when a brainstorm hit me!) and have completed 7 pieces in that time and am in the process of working on two more. I also do other types of art and have done so for many years. Please feel free to browse through the rest of my site. It is a work in progress, so come back often as new items are being added all the time. Need a unique gift idea? Like original art work?
